Frances Mae Campbell Taylor, 81, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 21, 2006. She was a devoted and faithful member of The Mount Olivet Methodist Church, Boones Mill, VA for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Penn Campbell; her brother, Oliver Campbell; sister, Jean Johnson and one son, James Lee Taylor Jr. She is survived by her Loving and Caring husband, James Lee Taylor Sr., Roanoke, Va.; six children, Frances Lathan (James) Wright, Vinton, VA, Linda Diane(Eddie) Blair, William Lewis Taylor, both of Roanoke, VA, Brenda Mae Mike, Tampa, Florida, Harold Taylor and Bernard Taylor, both of Roanoke, VA; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean Campbell, Roanoke, VA; two devoted sisters-in-law, Blanche Craig and Gladys Jones both of Roanoke, VA; devoted niece and friend, Kathleen Crockett, Roanoke, VA. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. A Special Thanks to the Staff and Nurses at Friendship Manor and the wonderful friends she met while being there during her illness. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2006 in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with Reverend Connie Lee Sr. officiating. The interment will be in the Taylor Family Cemetery, Boones Mill, VA.
